Dear President Trump,

Last night was your campaign rally in Pennsylvania. How about you start being the President and stop being the candidate? I am grateful my grandchildren were not watching your rally. I never want them to witness a President of the United States involved in name calling and belittling Americans that disagree with him/her. President Trump, are you capable of saying positive things without bullying others? Tonight, in my opinion, you are just as disgraceful as the media you detest. I am ashamed and embarrassed and turning you OFF.

You Did It Again!

Here is the quote    

“President Trump voiced confidence Friday about a new health care overhaul coming together as early as next week, declaring in an interview with Fox News’ Martha MacCallum that despite Republicans’ failure to pass a replacement in his first 100 days, “ObamaCare is dead.”

You cannot make that promise. “You” don’t have any control. This is a congressional issue. Please stop making promises you can not keep. You can say things like “I hope congress respects me enough to pass it” or “We are trying to get it pushed through”.

You don’t speak for congress and they don’t want to do crap.

I hope this language is simple enough that you get it.

Oh dear. Really, did you have to jump to conclusions and tweet about it?

Couldn’t you have turned the information over to people who look into this kind of thing and see if it is true? Just because you are privy to some partial information doesn’t mean you should share it and mouth off about it. If you can’t keep your briefings private and give yourself time to think it through before you tweet, maybe you are in the wrong job.

I am so very disappointed.

Can't wait for the transcript

Dear President Trump,

Tonight you addressed congress. I cannot wait until I get a transcript of the speech. I thought the tone was upbeat and for the most part you stayed on point. I was pleasantly surprised. However, I think the next time you address them you should shake it up a bit. I think you should change the seating arrangements! I know this is unheard of, but I think I would enjoy it more.  I think you seat them Republican, Democrat, Republican, Democrat …… I am going to dig into the content of your speech and I am certain we will have more to talk about.

Dear President Trump,

When I started this project I honestly thought most of my letters would be upbeat and fairly complementary. However, your arrogance keeps getting in the way of my compliments. Please just take a minute to remember that just because you say so, doesn’t make it a fact or even an alternate fact. Bullying people into your deal making may not be the best option.

Maybe this song will give you a clue.

It seemed a little odd, but I let it go.

The race for DNC Chairman was, of course, totally "rigged." Bernie's guy, like Bernie himself, never had a chance. Clinton demanded Perez!

What don’t you understand? You won the election. You can take credit for great things WITHOUT saying anything about the former President. He has had his moment in the spotlight. Trying to prove that you are “better than him” by mentioning his only name, makes you appear, petty. I shouldn’t have to keep saying the same thing over and over. (I really hope you are not reading these, because if you are and ignoring all my great advice that’s worse.)

Did Hillary Clinton ever apologize for receiving the answers to the debate? Just asking!

Yes, I know it got many like and retweets. That simply proves we are petty. I don’t believe that you ever expected Hillary to apologize. I don’t think it improves your image but making this petty little tweet. It shows a lack of respect for the office you hold. This isn’t high school.

President Trump, It’s aggravating.

Dear President Trump,

I don’t think I believe you anymore. The evidence is mounting that you have made many promises that you simply can not keep.This particular tweet “One by one we are keeping our promises - on the border, on energy, on jobs, on regulations. Big changes are happening!” today put me over the edge.

Nothing can be done until you learn how to work with others. I really don’t know how else to explain it. Just because you say it is so, doesn’t make it so. Don’t say you are keeping promises until the deal is done, the court has ruled on it and it is really here.

It’s aggravating.

Stop it!

Day 44 ~ March 4th

Dear Mr. President,

I don't understand why you won't listen. Have you lost all of your common sense or do you think it doesn't apply to you? You need to be practical, careful and thoughtful.

Today, apparently as soon as you were briefed on some information you had to hop on Twitter. There is a reason they only brief you, the rest of us probably should not know every little detail or possibility you hear about.

Maybe calls coming into Trump Tower and leaving trump tower were tapped. Maybe you feel violated. However, my mother used to say "If you have nothing to hide, skip the outrage and let people find out how wonderful you are." It was good advice.

You are not  perfect. You are not the President of the world. The world does not revolve around you.

Please stop it.
