Crystal Clear

Dear President Trump,

I have something I want you to think about. It is crystal clear to me the narrative needs to change. You have the power and perhaps the responsibility to make that change.

For a simple two weeks I would like you to personally commit to changing the narrative.  For just two weeks use proactive tweets that have NO negative mention of your personal enemies (including fake news).

Simply report the great things that are being done or are getting worked on. As a Forgotten American all I hear is "poor picked on me", instead of here are the things we are doing for "you".

Here are some exmples.
 "Today we are reaching out to Republicans in the Senate to produce a healthcare bill."

"Today let's turn hope into actions and do something that helps our neighbor."

"Today we are encouraging all Americans to thank a military family for the service they are or have offered."

"Today we all should reach across a party line and give someone a handshake."

I need some "crystal clear", lets get back on track tweets. For two weeks if you can't say something nice - don't bother to tweet.

May 7th

Dear President Trump,

Other than hating Fake News, is there anything else to talk about? Today I feel powerless. I think extreme things happen and people feel powerless over their own future.

I am not certain who Congress is representing, but it’s not me. Today I am asking for your advice. How can “we” be represented. I have tried letters, phone calls, tweets, town halls and have had no results. People from outside my district got more attention than me.

How can the Forgotten American be represented when big money is how you get the Congress’s attention? With the money we have we are trying to decide to pay the power bill, water bill and house payment or buy some groceries. We work every day and get our little pay check.

Does anyone in Washington really care?

Fire with Dignity

May 9th

Dear President Trump,

You had power to fire Comey. I am not certain details of why you felt now was the time. I had concerns about how he handled things and didn’t understand why you allowed him to stay so long.

With that being said, I think calling the man may have been better than just sending the courier.  It seems a little cold and impersonal. Perhaps that was your point.

Anyway, here’s my suggestion. Next time you fire someone, give them a personal call and then follow it with a written notice through US mail. Much cheaper for us taxpayers and much less drama for you.

Check on Nancy

Dear President Trump,

I think it is time for someone to check on Nancy Pelosi. I don't she is mentally fit to hold office. She doesn't know who the current President is. She can't be certain which President she is praying for.

Here is a recent little snippet.

"Speaking with reporters, Pelosi invoked Fox News as she recalled a man who was jailed years ago for threats against her. “His mother said, `He just watches too much Fox TV.’ That’s what she said,” Pelosi said. She added that the “crude and disgusting” things she hears come “from the outside.”

I think she is more than past her prime. I think it is time to schedule an appointment and check for dementia.  It's the right thing to do.

Healthcare Victory!

Dear President Trump,

I am not sure today was a healthcare victory. I think you may have gone a little overboard. What you got was a few steps in the right direction. Republicans agreed to look at it and Democrats agreed to obstruct it. So lets take a step back and say it like it is. "We are trying to get representatives in Congress to do their job."

Dear President Trump,

Perhaps you know a lot more about what insurance companies are doing than the public. We are aware that one insurance company is leaving the exchange at least in one state. Still your tweet makes it sound like a stampede. Some of your tweets are simply self-inflicting.

It was nice to stop by and give Betsy DeVose a little surprise. She is doing her best and surviving a whole lot of undeserved drama and criticism. People should give her an opportunity to do her job.
