Immunity

Dear President Trump,

I am a little conflicted about the word immunity and about your tweet.

Mike Flynn should ask for immunity in that this is a witch hunt (excuse for big election loss), by media & Dems, of historic proportion!”

I wonder if someone would really need immunity if they were innocent?  Or maybe it is a just a safety net in case others are implemented and can file lawsuits. Still it makes me think that you know something about something that is a problem.
